According to the GDPR, ‘controller’ means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. The two key elements are 'purposes' (why does your organisation collect and use personal data?), and 'means of processing', (how is the personal data processed?).

In your GDPR compliance application, the 'Organisation name' is where you insert the controller name.
